Bilal is passionate about renewable energy, and she works at Brookhaven National Laboratory’s Center for Functional Nanomaterials to unlock revolutionary new technologies. 

In the interview, Bilal shares what inspires her most about her field, discusses how she re-entered her career after raising three daughters and explains why other women and girls should study STEM fields.
